We were kicked out of AH months ago and now are being kicked out of TCN. Could the mods not have a chat together to find an appropriate home. It would be a shame to kill this thread after so long.

tCN isn't a dumping ground, it's got a specific remit, which is "silly".
These threads are just banter between a number of people, and certainly not a fit for here.

I agree. There are plenty of the same type of threads in AH Trivial things etc that continue. If this wasn't in TCN there wouldn't be anything left.

The TCN is not 'silly'. There is nothing in it for it to be silly. No-one posts in any other thread bar Caoimgh1n and Shannon 757 in the bump one which granted is kinda silly and that's being kind.

You know I'd just started having a look at and contributing a bit in other threads in here today but I only ended up coming across TCN because it had this active on going thread. If this thread wasn't here, I'd have assumed TCN was dead and would not have followed it.

Its a shame if its closed. I thought most of the content was silly random questions and answers!

I would be saddened to see this thread closed. Like Lorelli said if it wasn't here then The Cuckoo's Nest would go under the radar for most of us. Now that it's here we join in the bump thread and the four story word thread ans whatever else we come across.

In fact it's because of this thread that I suggested to an old frequent poster of these parts to return, and she has. This place fosters a sense of community which is hard to come by on boards these days.

Please let us have this thread StarLord.

Spoke with the Nocturnal mods and they'd be happy to have the thread there. Rather than moving a huge thread, that'd kill too many hamsters, you can finish out this thread, and then start the new one over there.

Should be a better fit, will attract more new players to it, and should thrive there.
