Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It keeps me awake at work.

    From the news....

Man (49) appears in court charged with possession of pistol, silencer and bullets at Dublin home

Two hammer-wielding men terrify staff during supermarket robbery

Man dressed as Freddy Krueger shoots five people at Halloween party

A number of men forced their way into the woman's home, where she was with her young son

Gardai are hunting for a sex attacker after a man broke into a young woman's apartment in Co Donegal and set upon her.

Aren't men awful bastards all the same?

I can tell the difference between the tongue in cheek posts and the serious ones. I responded to one question with something like "I prefer human pets". The next poster took me seriously. Of course I don't view human beings as pets! :D

Did you have a nice weekend?

A sturdy tree stand. Don't want it toppling over onto the curtains and setting them alight.

Do you squeeze the absolute bollix out of your tube of toothpaste before starting a new one?

Always. I always find that I am sparing with an old nearly gone tube but as soon as I get a new one I'm as wasteful as ever.

    Anyone else like that?
