    Any info on the 30 gr vmax .22 magnum.Looking to shoot fox's with it. Max. range for fox's bullet drop etc.

    Used it for years in a remington 597 100 of foxes dropped. Keep it to 130 yards or so aim for the chest. Very fast bullet

    no bother just above and slightly behind the front leg

    I miss the remington 597 in 22 WMR it was a very accurate gun and allowed very quick follow up shots.

    It was also very economical. In saying that the Hornet is ideal for foxes.....for me. I like the hornet.

    If I change and I'm thinking about it it will be a 204.
