Berger bullets, available where reloading is permitted, are not only premium grade, but premium priced. They can often cost the same as loaded factory ammunition made with other people's bullets. Or, in the case of their 175gr bullets, the nearest thing they make for those who reload Swiss 7.5x55 [that uses a 174gr bullet], they actually cost about £10 more per hundred than a hundred PPU factory rounds....

    Lovely stuff, though.

Yes,and sometimes its hard to get in Europe cause its imported from the US.
Hopefully the stocks will last longer and price even out in the long run for European shooters.

At the moment, 168gr Berger bullets are hovering around £79-80 per C. For those who rely on reloading their match ammunition, only Berger and JLK are readily available on mainland UK, although an Australian brand, whose name momentarily escapes me, are making headway into that market.

Hunting bullets are not really Berger's forté, but if you like to shoot very small groups in hunting calibre rifles, then here is a list of other calibres and weights -

    .270 - 140gr - £72.60/C

    .243 - 105 - £56.50/C

    7mm - 168gr - £77.40/

    6.5 - 140gr - £71.40/C

I stress that these prices are for bullets only for those who shoot any of these calibres in the Republic, and for whom reloading is an option. Sadly, I have no idea who might import them into the Republic, but no doubt those who can reload are already aware of likely people.
