Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Belling oven door wont close fully

    Hi,

I have a Belling single oven (similar to attached) that we have inherited when moving into our new house. It looks a few years old but works fine except that the door does not close fully. It takes much longer to cook things in the oven and the kitchen ends up being roasting as the hot air escapes from the oven into the room.

I suspect the hinges in the door are the problem? Has anyone replaced hinges on an oven like this before and fixed a problem like this? I dont want to waste buying hinges for 50 or 60 quid if it wont fix the issue

a new pair of hinges should sort it as the springs can go weak but you could also remove the door and re fit again to make sure the existing hinges are located properly as sometimes if the door has been removed it may not have been put back correctly
