Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I like the narrative developing that Jose is causing this.

    Liverpool have been absolutely dire

He has utd solid in fairness. Giving liverpool no room. It's pretty negative but it's working.

    Man Utd not trying???

6 defenders, 2 defensive midfielders, long punts forward, hoping Ibra and Pogba might make something out of nothing. It's nothing football, anti football.

No it hasn't. United drop when they need to drop and get players behind the ball, that's just intelligent football. United are pressing the players who are trying to show for the ball and have so far stopped Liverpool playing through the thirds like they'd like to.

Absolute horse manure, 10 men behind the ball most of the game. No intention to counter with just pogba and Zlatan pushing on. Taking all day for a throw in or any set piece. Maureen is putting everyone to sleep again

United have been solid, muting Liverpool, but I don't think they expected Liverpool to be so sloppy. They could have really gone for it.

Giggs actually said with a straight face that Utd look more dangerous.

Being more aggressive does not equal looking more likely to score.

We can criticise Mourinho for anti-football all we want but Liverpool are struggling to play simple passes. That's not Mourinho's fault.

Nah. Theyre happy to frustrate Liverpool and stick to the plan. Queiting the crowd and killing the intensity.

Content with a draw. Very happy with a win.

But the other guy doesn't? Gotcha.

I remarked that he is always criticising Sturridge, I don't recall mentioning that he can't, I believe someone else questioned why was he blaming Sturridge. Why not direct your inane line of questioning at them angry man.

You don't get me at all btw old boy.

United won't be solid for 90 minutes and Liverpool won't be as awful for 90 minutes.

    That first half worries me.

How does Gigg's say Utd look more dangerous. Not one chancre created in the first half.

In fairness, Mourinho has his tactics spot on. Klopp clueless so far.

They had more shots and more on target. No decent efforts from either yet but United look more likely for sure.

First 25 they did look a lot more dangerous in fairness.

Sure I heard that prematch on the TV. If I didn't I wouldn't be seeing you post it I reckon.

It's Bielsa stuff compared to what Pulis will be up to on Saturday

Lallana and gigi are a big loss. Jose tactics winning so far, but signs of Liverpool coming into it .

Liverpool have been harmless, it's hardly a stretch saying United looked more dangerous

Haha this half reminded me of that "hot bath" Eamonn Dunphy quote. While Liverpool's lack of quality and composure thus far has been regrettable, the lack of ambition for a squad as expensive as this Man Utd one is barely believable.

They had the chance from the FK that Zlatan sent into Goodison.

What I don't understand is how Liverpool could surround the ref looking for a yellow for a Herrara, yet when a United player does it it's a booking?

Breaking down this Utd team isn't easy, we'll get a chance or two, if we take them we win imo.

Sturridge is also causing Liverpool problems. He's not on the same wavelength as everyone else at all.

Waiting for Rooney to come on and miss kick/defect a ball onto some to score.

Liverpool just need to hold onto the ball and pass it around not resorting to lumping it up the pitch

I can lip read. He was telling him that when he's redoing his banister he has to sand it down, then give it two layers of undercoat and three layers of paint. Honest!

Have seen enough of Karius at this stage. SM must be wondering what has to happen to get back in
