Was highly critical of Garcia being picked... happy to be proved wrong.

    Garcia’s missus loves the limelight

And someone thinks people will pay to watch Woods vs Phil.

They way they’ve played this week they’d have to pay people to watch it

Combined score of 0 out of 6 points. They should lead with that in the ads.

There'll be some celebrations tonight I'd say.

Being Alex Noren right now must feel like working on Christmas Eve, with noise coming from the local pub down the road

    Garcia’s missus loves the limelight

Thats unfair, she only has eyes for her bloke, and they appear to have a great love.

Every other tournament is a selfish pursuit, this is about the game, teamwork, support of family and mates, country. Let's just enjoy that

Surely Mickelson conceding on the tee was more humbling?

Love watching Fleetwood celebrate the moment, as an Everton fan the won’t come around often for him!!

Apart from Poults, the rest of the British contingent didn't contribute much to the singles.

Actually thought Casey squaring up his match was a turning point, US had momentum at that stage..

Patrick Reed just exemplifies what the issue is with this American team. Him, Woods, Mick, Watson, too many of them are unmitigated douchebags.

    Reed had a bad week

But he is class for golf.

Take him every day over the likes of a Hatton

He holed his Putt, won the match, crowd clapped, Reed jokingly shushed them and then applauded the crowd, Butch Harmon lost it saying "what are you doing Patrick, show some class".

I feel sorry for Noren and DeChambeau still out there while all the celebrations are going on. Could they not agree to halve the remaining holes or something?

For some reason Reed is disliked by the media and by many of the golf fans in the US. When he won the Masters he got a very muted reception. I think he may have a murky past or something.

Bit of an understatement! He has a very murky past and there's lots of nasty stories about him. Most recently when he won the masters, his wife allegedly had Reed's own parents thrown out of the golf course. But he's great craic. The pantomime villain.
