Returning from overseas and looking for a property - WHY are there no property sizes on Daft.ie / MyHome.ie , most other countries tell you the size of the apartment/house but Ireland - NAH

Mod note Language has been moderated. OP this is not a ranting forum.

Just did a random search on the Daft.ie app.

5 different property types in 5 different places.

The dimensions of EVERY room are listed!?!

The vast majority of ads have it in the description. Just read it. Problem solved.

Was looking at daft this morning, every house I looked at had the dimensions.

Are you sure you really want to come back?

Are we talking sales or rentals? Almost all properties for sale will have overall size (there's even a field for it in the listing on Daft) and usually the estate agents will break down the room sizes as well in the description. Rentals, though, almost never have size listed, so maybe that's what the OP is referring to.

In my experience of looking at houses for sale, the floor size area is not accurate.
If there is a BER number the BER cert will have the floor area listed. This is usually more accurate.
