Best news Ive heard in a long time. I always thought swords was missing out by not making the most of the castle and area around it.

The main street needs some boost from fingal given it's decline in recent years. New restuarants there are trying their best to start up and grow. The flowers have been a great simple addition in the last year or two. Having the castle open out and be a friendly civic space with plenty of seating will hopefully help draw the big population around towards a focal point on a regular basis.
