Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

And he makes up for it with an equaliser

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭KaiserGunner

Thought Schmeichel might have done better there, maybe I'm being harsh but thought he was awfully slow getting across his goal. Well directed header though.

Nice goal. Derby 2 Leicester 1

Enjoyable game - the reaction of Darren bent will be a gif classic, Derby not being outplayed really though they do offer plenty of chances. If they should go up they'll be straight back down.

Thought that myself, looks like a deflection off Huth on the reply though...

FT 2-2 Good game for the neutral and a result that pleases neither.

McClaren has the countenance of 'disappointed dad' so often.

Quality strike from Wycombe striker Hayes against Spurs.

    Spurs 0 Wycombe 1

Wycombe with another goal. 3-2 up now and Spurs down to ten due to using all subs and trippier gone off injured

When spurs equalized you assumed there was only one winner. Great goal on the break that was too.

Holey crap Lincoln 3-1, Oxford 3-0

On loan from Chelsea, he pretty average at best Blackman.

Looks like two more premier league clubs are going out.

Hull 3-1 down to Fulham and Watford a goal down to millwall.

When is the 5th round draw, today or tomorrow evening?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

    Think it's this evening!

Leeds possibly lucky not to be a goal down!

Millwall claim another Prem scalp - Watford doing a Bournemouth playing a weak side when they really should give it a go.

Just watched a YouTube of the Sutton v Coventry he from 1989.

Ground has hardly changed a bit, pitch is better though :)

I predicted this result. Stonewall penalty not given there.

There is absolutely no basis by which logic would point to Leeds losing this match today. I would like to hear your reasoning based on both clubs form?

I would guess Mushy's prediction is based on the fatalism that every long-standing Leeds fan possesses where we know that whenever a seemingly easy task presents itself we know we are more than capable of fcuking things up.

Fair play to Sutton, the better team won.

Huge changes to team, focus on the league. Same as Newcastle and Brighton, much bigger things to focus on.

Clearly a weakened Leeds side away - classic upset. The fourth round has actually turned out to be a cracker.

Still should be beating Sutton United with that team. A deserved result but a freak and shock result nonetheless. No real pre game logic to losing to a team 90 places below you!

Logically a shock yeah, but this weekend has shown that teams with large scale changes aren't fairing well. Liverpool, Southampton(I know that was v arsenal but 0-5 is extreme), Newcastle, Brighton all did it and failed.

We brought on an 18 year old player who's brother got murdered on Thursday, had 9/10 changes from midweek with few teenagers in there.

Not to take away from Sutton, they deserved it. Scenes like these are what make the cup. As a Leeds fan, I wanted out. No way can they give Newcastle/Brighton any more of an advantage!

Dunno if being sarcastic, but yeah, shows the extent of changes. It didn't work out for many teams, hence my prediction.

I should've said shot dead too, it may have been more accidental!

Doesn't appear to have been, police are saying it was a targeted shooting and have arrested three people on suspicion of murder. Which makes me wonder why Wilks was in the squad today. I know he said he wanted to play and it was the best thing for him, but you'd really have to wonder if it was. Not that he was the worst performer on the pitch by any means, it's pretty clear why Matt Grimes hasn't been getting a game.

Nothing to be sarcastic about. I genuinely didn't know that
