Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Intermittent gas problems

    Hi,

I am having problems with my gas hob in that sometimes it works as normal, sometimes on partial power, sometimes the flame can be too strong and sometimes not at all (like the last 2 days  ).

When there is no flame, i have noticed that when i switch off the regulator on the cylinder that there is no 'hiss' for a millisecond (or indeed when i put it back on) .... where i presume the pressure of the gas in the regulator is released (not sure i have explained that too well!)

Has anyone encountered such an issue before (a Rangemaster 110)? Is it likely to be a component in the cooker or simply a problem with the gas regulator on top of the cylinder ?

    Cheers

Strongly recommend that you buy a carbon monoxide alarm and engage an RGI to insect your appliance and the regulator.
