    There is a Red Beacon on a peak in West Cork around the Shehy Mountains - Anyone Know exactly where it is

    Mullaghanish near Ballyvourney has a beacon that flashes at the top of the mast on the summit. RTE mast so very tall - 4th highest structure in Ireland. The light is a requirement to protect aircraft.
