I swear to God - they are digging up the pedestrianised surfaces again!
This job has got to go down on record as the most inefficient and incompetent road project ever.
Not to mention the longest to complete!

100% Agreed. Between fellas standing around smoking fags and on their phones and digging and digging this is a complete joke.

Think at this stage the crew responsible need to be taken off this project and a company that actually understands how to complete this work be brought in. This crowd are clearly amateurs.

All approaches closed at present after fatal accident involving motorcyclist whose motorbike struck the roundabout.

    RIP.

I cycle through this roundabout quite regularly, generally coming from the industrial estate direction and heading towards Mungret. Is there any sign of them ever replacing the random bits of the cycle path they dug up? As of yesterday they were still a mess and basically unusable for the most part except for a short stretch around the entrance to the old Mungret college park.

As I go left at the roundabout I could avoid it entirely... if they hadn't dug up the on ramp for the cycle path :(

When you hear about a fatality on the roundabout (I know it wasn't a bicyclist but still) it brings stuff like this into focus.
