He doesnt have a get out of jail free card. I know youre not suggesting he does. But he deliberately tried to hurt Leanna.

No, I agree 100% with what you're saying, I just think it all stems from the Maya stuff. Jacob was an annoyingly sweet boy until she showed up. And she spent a good while toying with him too. Getting close to him then pushing him away. Sleeping with him then being awful to him. Absolutely he should still know that the way he spoke to Leanna was unforgivable though.

Personally I think the main problem with this whole Jacob story is that the actor isn't good enough to pull it off, there's no subtlety in his performance. If you compare him to say Isobel Steele, who plays Liv, and the time she found out about Maya and was blackmailing them. It was an awful thing to do but you could see in her performance that Liv knew it was the wrong thing, you could see her grappling with her actions vs her conscience. The lad playing Jacob is just way too one dimensional in his performance. He's just angry. Or he's just sad. There's no depth to any of it and that, for me anyway, means I have to keep reminding myself that he's been the victim of abuse, that he's going through this, that or the other, and mostly I just don't care enough to keep doing that.

Has Jacob even had any counseling or therapy? It’s like Bethany in Corrie. They never show them do that. They expect them to be brainwashed by their abusers and expected to be sane a few week later. The damage that’s been done to those children.

He was assigned a therapist after Maya was arrested, but he didn't engage with it properly because he didn't accept that what happened was abuse, and he still hasn't. I believe the spoilers for next week mention him finally going to see one again. And, to be fair to the story line, I think they've made it abundantly clear that he's not okay and that there has been serious damage done to him.

I dont know. I dont like how the story has played out. Maybe there is more to come that will improve it . There is a much better version being told in another soap atm.

Do you mean Corrie? If so that's completely different and you can't really compare the two directly.

That Arthur is awful, what a change in him  poor Archie can he not confide in Dan or Amelia the truth, I hope he does soon

Hate what they have done to him! He has been through so much and was so sweet natured through it all. The little lad who plays him is a very good actor, though. I wonder how he felt when he saw what they were doing to his character.

Two teenagers groomed by a partner of a parent? They're directly comparable.

Paul isn't a teenager anymore though. He's dealing with what happened to him years down the line, as an adult. He's in a completely different place to where Jacob is and so it's dealt with differently and plays out differently.

I was hoping David would really kick out Jacob, ship him off to Alicia and Justin (the parents the show has forgot about)

He was probably delighted to get the opportunity to do a bit of proper acting in a big storyline.

They both believed the groomer was in love with them. Paul was frozen in time until he met Billy, so regardless of whether hes an adult now or not, hes only dealing with it now and we saw it click with him when he realised it was abuse.

The dialogue, the journey, the acting, the discovery has been superb.

Granted we didn't see him in his lashing out days. But Paul was torn apart by what happened knowing something was off, but not fully understanding the picture.

Jacob is just miserable because he cant see his girlfriend any more and mad at everyone for ruining his relationship. Rather than being upset by what happened, hes upset by other people's reactions to what happened and treated Leanna like sh*t.

How has Jacob gone from Harvey Weinstein to the blubbering wreck of expecting instant forgiveness for realising he's a prick in 3 episodes?

Graham and Kim are married, did not expect that

It was a pretty decent surprise alright but I'll be glad to see the back of Graham. They've changed his backstory so many times now that nothing makes sense.
Joe was looking after Kim's assets when she was in jail, it's why she wanted him dead when she was released! Now suddenly she's married Graham to look after them and it makes no sense that Joe was able to do whatever he liked with Kim's money

In regard to Joe, I thought Zoe asked Graham from his boarding school to take care of him, Joe would be rich from Chris's assets

It is very confusing all the changes

Zoe and Joe should hate Kim and not want anything to do with her but Joe was working for her while vendetting against Charity

The original story, when Joe was revealed to be Joe, was that it was just him, and all his money, and Graham had been hired by Zoe to look after him after Joe had saved his life while he was working at his boarding school.

Then, when Kim was about to return, suddenly it was all Kim's money, Joe was only supposed to be looking after her interests for her while she was in jail. Graham was someone who had been working for Kim for decades, had been having affair and was supposed to be keeping a tight rain on Joe for her.

Skip ahead a few months and Graham is now someone who was keeping an eye on Jamie for Kim while she was in jail, married her at some point before that so he could keep her money safe and his history with Joe seems non existent.

I don't really care when they rewrite really old stuff or make a mistake when referencing something from 20 years ago but Graham's story has been rewritten so many times in a very short space of time that it's just ridiculous now. At least this most recent reveal will lead to some juicy drama for a few weeks.

Kim goes from being Millie's granny to step mammy

When did Mandy start working at the salon, I thought she was working in the pub, is she covering Lydia's cleaning work?

Bernice mentioned it in passing the other day that she'd be looking after the place while they were on Honeymoon. Mandy asked Kerry, I think, to put in a good word for her

Not sure about the pub now. Did Charity only hire her to keep her from telling Vanessa about the casino? Maybe she's been sacked again.

Did Noah not get any of the Tate money kept for him as he is Chris Tate's son? I know he wouldn't have access to it yet as he's not 18 but he would be entitled to a share.

I don't think so as Chris thought Noah was Cain's kid and was framing Charity for his death unless she contested his will later on, maybe Joe gave him money

Guessing it's only a matter of time before they recast Noah, age him up and turn him into a complete bollocks like his Dad.

I'd be surprised if Charity passed up on the chance to contest the will once it was established that Noah was a Tate. Agree that Noah will be recast in time.

They kind of implied Joe had no money when Kim came back, so I don't know if Zoe has it all, or he blew his inheritance, or what?

Liam will get no Pride and Prejudice wedding

Nate could not give Kyle's present to Belle or Amy
