I was checking up some of the links to my website recently and saw a link to a page called http://www.timer4web.com/. When I looked at the site I see that they have indexed my website and provided a range of details on it, including my name, address, phone number and email address. I'm a bit annoyed about this because I never opted in to this service, and I don't really want my information made public in this way.

    So I have two questions
    • Do you think this poses any risk to me or my website?
    • Should I ask them to remove my details?
    Thanks

I presume your name, address, phone and e-mail are all either on your website or in the whois for your domain. If so, then they are already publicly available and you may not be in a position to get them to remove the details.
