Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Absolute ****ing shambles.

It was a bit opera mystic to think they could come here and play for a 0-0 two games in a row.

    Brilliant performance so far.

Blind and smalling are having a shocker

Now that's embarrassing, Conceding to a Gary Cahill strike.

United should have given Giggs a go for a season before hiring Mourinho who really should've taken an extended break from the game.

Mourinho should have been given the Man U job when Ferguson went. That was the vital moment. Instead they went for Moyes.

    More elbowy.

Much worse that Fellaini out there at the moment. He is the easy go to scapegoat though for most.

    P€gba and Blind particularly

Take Blind off now, having an absolute howler of a game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

Again we're relying on Herrera to show some balls. Come on lads.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,380 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

It's been a very good half so far fairly end to end.

United don't seem to be pressing as well as last Monday though and are giving Chelsea to much time on the ball.

    Smalling having a howler.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Against Conte's modern football, this Man Utd side look prehistoric. Also keep in mind this Chelsea team is itself a work in progress.

I think you'll find that this crap will be a trend on weekends after Europa League ties. Smalling's having a howler alright, but none more so than Blind, both of them look absolutely lost out there.

What modern football. They are pressing everywhere and hitting on the break.

Utd backs are truly shocking today. Blind alone should be taken out.

Mourinhios teams are generally built on great defences. Utds is a shambles

I reckon this game has a red card in it. Costa and Fellaini being the obvious candidates.

  • Registered Users Posts: 568 ✭✭✭Tomagotchye

United's movement is terrible. Wayching pogba and fuzzhead walk about when off the ball. Lot of cowards in the United team. No hungerz nobody grabbing the team.

Chelsea have been hungry and slick. Pedro and moses hounding the backs with pace and direction

Bailly looks most likely imo. Himself and Blind are out of position far too often.

I'd agree but they seem so at sea, I doubt they'd have the wit to make a red card tackle when caught.

The team he inherited had no front men so that was priority one and Ibra is a good one. Utd midfield has been week for a very long time with Rooney occupying a deep role so they could accommodate him so they never built a midfield. This year the defence has collapsed and only for DeGea, Utd would be in deep trouble already this year. How many times has he pulled out a stunning save but he couldn't do anything about today's 2 (so far).

How can people say now that Mourinho's team is still forming , just taken over in August etc whist Chelsea and Conte are in the exact same position?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

United's movement at times is worse than schoolboy stuff, Pogba standing in the area amongst 6 Chelsea players waiting for a cross is dreadful to see

  • Administrators, Entertainment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 18,750 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭hullaballoo

Unbelievable, watching this, that the exchange rate is three Kantes to one Pogba.

  • **** sake
    Red card
    **** off ref

If it was Fellini he would have got two

Speak of the devil, enter David Luiz. On a yellow now.

Mourinho looks bedraggled at 50 odd, how did Fergie maintain such longevity, freak of nature.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

    Could easily have been red

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,948 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Shocking tackle. Red card all day!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

    Could have been a red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,466 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Well if Luiz does stupid tackles like that he'll be first.

Jose has his first excuse now. :pac:

    Prob a red.
Prob a foul on Pedro before it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

Luiz will be getting an elbow soon as revenge.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,052 ✭✭✭ParkRunner

Be very surprised if there wasn't a red card in this

No one should get a red fouling fellani.

If that's a red Herrera should have been sent off V Stoke

It is still forming but defensively they're a mess and their star signing looks lost.

Contes team is still just taking shape, they look a lot better than United today even without Willian.

Oh er shh.. the game. Fellaini something something.

Too easy for Chelsea. Utd to throw the sink at Chelsea in 2nd half!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,762 ✭✭✭jive

If Pedro tried this hard every week he'd be class. He must really hate mourinho
