Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Playing this kind of football Jose will never get his dream job as manager of Barca.

2-0 is a fair reflection at half time, we've been excellent.

I'm blaming Rooney anyway, he's been awful

Doesn't help having Chelsea supporter Martin Atkinson in charge but no excuses for some brain dead defending

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,690 ✭✭✭✭Skylinehead

Chelsea have been fantastic. United on the other hand have been lazy/tired/unmotivated (take your pick), second to every ball and some horrible individual errors.

The best thing about that half for United is that they're still in the game. Chelsea should really be 3-0 to the good. But Luiz should be off the field.

Jaysus. 11 Utd players and their manager are the reason they are losing 2:0. Nothing to do with the ref.

Where's the guy who was dabbing against Fenerbache?

César Azpilicueta Is a beast at the back. So good at reading the play and getting into great defensive positions.

Well I don't know. Utd have had a few chances. 2-1 would be a fairer reflection on the game.

Still the best fullback in the league, has been for years.

Howard Webb all those years....something, something.....

United's chances have come from hopeful crosses, 2-0 is a deserved lead.

Mata and Martial on for Fellaini and Ibra/Lingard, we've nothing to lose now

Smalling & Blind huge weak links.
Have to give Conte credit by all accounts he didn't get his preferred transfer targets in Koulibaly,Nainngolan & Morata but after some poor results his change of system has worked. Moses is playing well as is Alonso.

After a decent start Ibra has turned into a bit of a statue up front for United.

What kind of reaction did Mourinho get from the Chelsea fans?

To be fair. There's been no supply to him. United's midfield has been mostly anonymous.

Meh, he's playing as you'd expect for a 34 year old lone forward. Not setting the world alight but he does a job. It's not like he's getting a wealth of service and he's flanked by Rashford and Lingard who are not exactly world beaters.

He gets very little supply as Utd this year sit very deep. He is playing lone man most games. He had one chance this game so far and probably should have hit target. Pogba is much more worrying as he has been crap. For a big man, he doesn't know how to boss his position.

No time to see as they were too busy celebrating Pedro's goal.

    Bailly should be off.

At 35 Ibrahimovic isn't going to be a mobile nuisance up front on his own anyhow. Needs help.

He moved his leg into Hazard, blatant trip.

Ha! Seriously? My word you have to be seriously biased not to see the infringement there, he came across him.

Looks like karma is getting to him anyway

Kante was the best transfer of the summer.

And a third of Pogbas fee.

Mustafi runs it pretty close imo.

Matip at Liverpool didn't cost a cent
