    Me too, and Happy Gilmore.

I'm also Irish, so I'll drop everything to watch The Snapper when it's on TV.

Parenthood - how this does not get more recognition baffles me; stellar cast, dialogue, the whole lot.

I love this, probably one of my favourite films and an underrated gem!! If anyone was a fan of The Trip with Coogan and Bryson, watch this.

Midnight Run has got a few mentions, the chemistry between De Niro and Groden is fantastic, and De Niro is actually funny and not just playing the straight guy. Another one of my favourites and not just comedy.

Groundhog Day - love it, pity about Andy McDowell and her poretry.

Also, haven't seen MASH mentioned yet, I also love that film. "Don't let him kiss you Hawkeye!"

Alan Partridge - Alpha Papa is pretty funny.

    The Jerk
    The Man with two brains
    Sleeper
    Bananas
Whatever you wanted to know about sex but was afraid to ask
    Play it again, Sam
    Shallow Hal
The Party (Simply for Sellers playing the Indian doctor, probably not too PC these days)
    Kentucky Fried Movie
The Groove Tube (Both Kentucky and Groove were made by the people who eventually brought us Airplane)
    Blues Brothers.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

The original version of the producer. The scene with Zero Mostel pretending to a be the chauffeur Randolpho so he can con money out of the old lady and many other gems. The film never fails to make me laugh.

I dunno... If we're talking all time comedy movies the naked gun and airplane have to take the top spots.

Alec Guinness was brilliant in that. The Ladykillers is another excellent Ealing comedy that he was great in. It's a pity the Cohen Brothers, who I'm a big fan of, felt the need to remake it with Tom Hanks as it was a pale imitation.
Next time you watch the Ladykillers

Kung Fu Hustle. It's an affectionate parody of all those Kung Fu film that have a big of comedy in them.

Has also been described as Jackie Chan and Buster Keaton meet Quentin Tarantino and Bugs Bunny.

I agree it's a great film, but I don't really think of it as a comedy--more a coming-of-age story with some funny moments.

Hot Fuzz , Just so much foreshadowing. It's worth watching again for the greater good.

Monsters, Inc. - don't forget the out takes at the end
    Delicatessen
    Sleeper

My taste changes depending on mood but all I can think of for this thread is In Bruges. It's obviously quite dark for a comedy but some parts are genuinely hilarious. I dont normally like Colin Farnell but his delivery in this is excellent.

    Totally forgot about The Room.

Hard to make a definitive list.

Blazing Saddles, Airplane, Groundhog Day, Dumb and Dumber all obvious ones.

Not sure if these ones have been mentioned-
    The Odd Couple
    the man with 2 brains
    Clerks (presume mentioned)
