Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    0-1.

    This could get very interesting...

Also, Stones is nowhere near as good as he or the English think he is.

City to run out 5 - 1 winners in the end.

I don't think "the English" (they're not a single unit) rate Stones that much. Guardiola and some pundits maybe. He's seriously bad though, can't defend and seemingly can't pass it either, despite that being his lauded quality.

    And now he scores.

    EDIT: or not!

47m Stones :pac: Everton must be laughing their holes off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

I think it's more the English football media than the English football fan that rate Stones

Was the lad given for offside from that free?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,710 ✭✭✭ahlookit

The commentary on Sky is nearly as bad as Stones defending

They hadnt a clue that Aguero was offside there

    Arsenal's year.

Southampton really are a great club, Stones is some value, always likely to do something mental.

City might need to invest another billion.

    Boos?

    lol

No shots on target for city? At least Van Gaal used to get to half time at 0-0

Booing at the Etihad at half time? They've got really entitied over there...

Going to give them benefit of the doubt and say it was because they feel wronged over the offside

Kompany's fault for stepping forward :)

And what do you expect them to do after a (non)performance like that? Happy clap? I've heard boos at every stadium when the fans feel let down by their team's performance. It's been a dreadful performance so far, easily the worst of the season so far. It even makes the no-show at WHL seem not so bad now!

The lad has the happy knack of knowing where the goal is!

Iheanacho is a special special player.

    Magic sub, magic goal.

The only magic I've seen in this game so far has been Stones making his team mates disappear.

Sterling looking a totally different player when he's on the right wing.

If City score the next they can be leading by a goal .

What if they score it into their own goal?

This Southampton kit makes it looks like all the players are playing with their socks down.

    Very interesting stat :
City have failed to score in all of their last 30 minutes of play today

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,466 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Nolito should have had 15 mins, not 4 .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,709 ✭✭✭✭Cantona's Collars

5 mins added time-where did that come from?

Another one from OPTA Joe Bloggs: City have started each of their games with eleven players, really makes you think.

Disappointing. But we didn't really deserve anything more after that woeful first half.
