One of ours went to college this year leaving behind a lot of books, almost all of them collections from popular authors but he has no interest in them any more and wants to sell them. Does anyone know of any secondhand bookshops or other options for this.

Personally I'd donate them to charity shops but if you need the cash your best bet might be to sell them online through adverts.ie or donedeal.

There is one just near the milk market very close to the Yellow Lemon

There's very little market for second-hand books by popular authors; he'll get next to nothing for them, and quite possibly nothing at all.

Cheers all, it is amazing how much books cost but there is very little if any resale value, it is no wonder that hardcopy books are going out of fashion. He just uses a kindle now.

Group them by author and stick them up on adverts. Sell them in groups to make it worth posting.
