Okay, so I need an education evaluation for CEC. I was recommended WES, but there's so much fluff that I'm at a loss.

Is there a straightforward guide to WES/education evaluation? What papers are needed and when you submit them, where do you get your papers, how long it takes, that kind of stuff? Also, going to be moving in a few weeks, does the address matter? Should I start it here in Canada or wait until I'm gone?

This is how I did it

    1. Sign up for a assessment here http://www.wes.org/ca/application/apply_now.asp . You need to pay the fee first. At the end, you'll get a reference number. Keep this.
    2. Photocopy your degree/diploma and mail it to them in Toronto.
    3. Get in touch with your college to find out what process they have for releasing transcripts (if you don't already have them). For my college, they cost 15 euro. I called up and paid the fee over the phone and then I emailed a copy of the transcript request form http://www.wes.org/ca/required/international_transcript_request.pdf . They then sent on the transcripts to WES.
    4. 2-3 weeks later you should get the assesment.

I don't think the address really matters. They send you out a paper copy but you can also download a copy online.

This, right here? I want to print it out and nail it up in every visa office. Straightforward, no weasel words, blunt and to the point. Thanks boss.
