Silliot Hill - Waste Disposal

Hi All,

Wondering if anybody can answer. Is Silliot Hill civic centre still operational.

Its a while since I was there. Oxigen were looking after it at the time. All web links to it are dead and if you go to Oxigens website and look under civic centres, there a few listed but none in Kildare.

Is it still around and if not do you have any ideas where I can bring some household waste. ( I am in Monasterevin )

AES are running it now for KCC. Oxigin done it for years but AES have recently got it.

If you have a lot of stuff and time on your hands oxigen in Ballymount is way cheaper and they take everything.

I always feel violated after leaving silliot hill.

It was €220 per ton for the last visit (a few weeks ago when Oxegen ran it). No idea what the new cost is.
