Big forward pass there in the build up. Surprised it was missed.

I've no idea what you could be talking about. :pac:

I don't think Leinster fans should be complaining about forward passes in Munster matches though...

Where is the MOTM from last week?

9 point lead might not be enough given the run of play. Munster were dominant but sloppy. Ulster were sloppy too but took their chances well

From the awful to the sublime in 10 minutes from Munster. Losing an uncontested lineout and then allowing the smallest player on the pitch run through 3!!! forwards under the posts.
Lovely straight lines from Scannell, Taute and ROM to lead to the try.

Williams pick and goes are dodgy though, he's picking the wrong time to do it and running away from his forwards.

    Tyler Bleyendaal is he injured?

Play the ball, not the man, Leinster has nothing to do with a match between Ulster and Munster

They're just resting him. Same with Stander

A real curate's egg of a first half... we have the better of them up front, reasonably comfortably I'd say.. but Christ above the errors. I'd love to say we deserve to be in front for all the possession and territory but we don't deserve it, you can't spill the ball for 40 mins and expect that.

Being honest, both Ulster's tries were like something from an u-18s game, apart from that we're not in too much trouble, except when Piatau has the ball.

Rory Scannell, Killer, John Ryan, Jack O'Donoghue, Sweetnam (bar one missed high ball) all having fine games. TOD was doing well until two bad mistakes before and directly after their try. Taute is good in flashes but I'd like to see him take the game by the scruff, it's there if he wants it. Scrums are even, had hoped to get some change out of them there. Niall Scannell's propensity for messing up lineouts 5m is starting to become a habit that I don't like.

Keatley... his kicking demons have returned, I hope that brilliant touch finder gives him some confidence, but we just can't rely on him off the tee at the moment.

I'd take a losing bonus if offered it but I don't think a win is beyond us at all. Ulster's subs will probably win the game for them though you'd feel. Even 50% more accuracy in their 22 and we'll get a few scores

Very impressed with JOD's carries too.

Munster's forwards have been good. Half backs have been very poor.

Stop going for goal Munster is my advice.

    Jesus Keatley.

For all that we were saying last season that having someone pushing him and able to take some pressure off, his kicking is actually worse.

Only ourselves to blame in loosing this game.
    Awful penalty given away

It's such a massive disadvantage not being able to take these points. Wales won a grand slam on the back of a kicker who punishes every penalty.

What a tackle by Luke Marshall.

Do Ulster have any sort of attacking structure?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,214 ✭✭✭letowski

Tuate looked a little slow there.

It seems now a days if a maul stops for 1/2 second you have to use it.

I dont know why I'm even surprised anymore with these knock ons.

He's always at his best at 8... the problem is.. CJ is in his way. Those games at 6 and 7 are standing to him, he's well rounded as a player

O'Donnell has been very poor tonight.

    I don't
Had more than enough time to "improve"
    The sooner ejected the batter

Hard to see us pulling this one out of the fire at this stage. Half backs and handling errors have killed us

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,668 ✭✭✭Mahatma Geansai

Conway taken out in the air and lands on his upper back. While I wouldn't agree with it, some refs would give a red for it.

I would love to know how Munster think they can win a game of rugby when they are incapable of holding onto the ball once under any sort of pressure.

Wonder how long Munster can hold onto the ball before knocking on.
