Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We had a rather lovely bar for that task. Today's will be difficult. Make the best dancing elephant. And only 6 hours to do it too. Thankfully my (yes I am in fact a grown up adult) teddy bear just so happens to be an elephant, so this should be easy for me. :)

Just saying...the coming weeks would be a great time for you all to watch Deadwood :D

Would also be a great time to run a second Deadwood game Stu :D

Aww fond memories of my very first game

And also cemented into my head never ever trust Necro, which I have stuck to whether he was good or bad :pac:

That was your first game is right. I would love to run a Deadwood sequel and probably will at some stage hopefully. I had much fun with the first one.

A year in now LS, you're a WW veteran at this stage :D

Oh yeah, that was a baptism of fire for you with Necro alright, a hard lesson learned straight away!

You'd swear I know this guy or something (I don't). But the third nerdy online pub quiz is starting at 8pm if anyone's at a lose end this evening. I encourage you to partake of some alcohol. It makes life better. :D

Well it's very obvious to me that we're all living in the bad timeline anyway so might as well watch Community. Was it roll 6 that was the worst timeline?

No, it was the second game on Boards, wasn’t it? But I wasn’t there for the first.

    https://openpsychometrics.org/tests/characters/

    Matches you to TV characters...

I got Eric from that 70's show and Leonard from The Big Bang Theory.

I got Lady Sybil Crawley (Downton Abbey). 78%

I’ve never watched downtown abbey so dunno if that’s good or bad.

Is the fella that’s supposed to take over from Mick McCarthy in August just digging his heels in and being an arsehole?

89% Odo from Star Trek. Like Strawbs and Downton, I don't know Star Trek so no idea if that's good or bad.

  • Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators Posts: 16,287 Mod ✭✭✭✭quickbeam

Oh, there's a few more mentioned, so I do know:

Toby Ziegler, The West Wing, 87% - yeah, I'd not argue with that
    Dale from the Walking Dead
    Principal Skinner
    Rupert Giles
    Davos from GoT
    Snape
    Ross Geller
    John Bates, Downton Abbey
    Ron Swanson

Some of those more accurate than others, IMO.

Lady Sybil Crawley (Downton Abbey): 78%
Carrie Bradshaw (Sex and the City): 78%
    Clementine Pennyfeather (Westworld): 78%
Donna Moss (The West Wing): 77%

GNR and Tigger would have been great fun to see in action! :)

But Molly is right, its best to not discuss people who cant respond on their own behalf.

    My top 10 similar personalitites:

Amy Farrah Fowler (The Big Bang Theory): 87%
    Hermione Granger (Harry Potter): 85%
Melinda Warner (Law & Order: SVU): 84%
Bernadette Rostenkowski (The Big Bang Theory): 82%
Miranda Hobbes (Sex and the City): 81%
    Lisa Simpson (The Simpsons): 80%
    Minerva McGonagall (Harry Potter): 79%
Joey Lucas (The West Wing): 79%
Jadzia Dax (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine): 79%

I'm actually quite happy with those. I think it's quite accurate (apart from the fact that Amy is way smarter than me). The only ones I don't know are the Law & Order one and the West Wing one.
