Good spot for lunch in D4

    Didn't realise the Old Spot on Bath Avenue doesn't do lunch on a Saturday, so anyone recommend a nice casual spot in Ballsbridge / Donnybrook / Sandymount that does decent food & can seat a family of 7?

    Would consider the city centre also, if it fits the bill.

    If you're up for a curry, Indie Spice in Sandymount does a good lunch deal - starter and main for €8.95, highly recommended. Just around the corner from the big Spar shop on the green.

    And there's always Rolys in Ballsbridge.

    Ended up in Fallon & Byrne's wine cellar on Exchequer st. & would happily recommend it, as the fare was good & there was something on the menu for everyone.
