Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did you take the coats off the calves in the warmer weather?

The day started dull and overcast but it picked up at lunch time and was barbecue weather :). We had a couple of showers of rain yesterday morning but it remained dry, overcast but we had good drying in the brisk wind.
Contractor drew 12 load out of the lagoon today (to a dryish field) to drop the level so it can be agitated tomorrow. Hope to get farm spread with the umbilical in the next few days.

The peat looks good and dry. Did you have to remove and replace it or just put fresh stuff on top.

Sunny clear blue skies. At the beach building sandcastles. Had booked it a month ago during the worst of the weather!

Hard to believe this damage was only done 36hrs ago, when there was a river of water crossing it!

Here's my attempt of a picture today from my only a few pixel but not too revealing phone.
Some of that has been grazed 3 times.
    A nice May day.

Lovely sunny day, grass is getting greener by the hour. Feel sorry for the animals still in the shed but they'll be out soon.

Lovely day here in Cavan, sun shining, 17° according to the car, gentle breeze blowing, cows first day out on driest field as rest is still soft, dog lying in shade and I'm after eating a magnum almond.
There 40 + bales of silage for stock still in or for cows at night which probably happen for a while yet.

Can I suggest that the first person to come on here looking for rain or complaining about a drought receives a permanent ban from the Mods.:p

Dull and cool evening here. There's a smell of rain in the wind too.

You've a good nose on you.

Seems the forecast is unsettled for the next 10 days with a brief ridge of hp on Monday.
Then looking at yr.no for my location it's giving no rain for the next 10 days only a squib tomorrow.
    Yr is wrong though.

    Buford's nose doesn't lie.

All the charts are showing it unsettled.
    Yr is just... fubar.

    Pissin hard in kk

We’ve just had some rain in Cavan, a lot of fertiliser went out locally today (including here) so it was useful.

But we’ve had enough now !
