Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Think next drop is here on Sunday.

There's no sign of rainbands (fronts) on Sunday for yourself.
It's all from the possibilities of thunderstorms coming in from the east.
You're as likely to get thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday as you are Sunday.
    It's unpredictable atm.

I've grass that got ahead of the cows booked as of this evening to be mowed so there's a 110% chance of rain for ye.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,739 ✭✭✭✭Say my name

Much damage done with the storms on people?

I heard myself of a house burnt down in cork.
Livestock struck in Waterford and transformers, sky boxes hit in my own locality.

Blew up my flecking fencer. Made shirt of it. Blew it off the wall. White wire for gaps were burnt to a crisp had to replace 2. But thank God no fatality

Mad around me, but no real accumulations where it’s needed.
Lost a corner of a field of sunflowers, that’s all.
3km from an outfarm got 58mm in 20 mins today. Quite a bit of damage done to crops, but very localized.

Very early in the year for this carryon.

Have you examined your surviving fence wire? It can make them brittle and hard to work with.

Very clammy here in North Tipperary cloudy and I just heard a couple of rumbles of thunder. Severe thunderstorms reported in Thurles with thundery down pours.
