Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Heavy mist here, just about keeping the dust down. A few days left of grazed second cut and bales coming into the feed equation next week.

Raining here now. Rained this morning here too.
    Off out spreading fertilizer today.

Big green up occurring at the moment.

I know posters mean well here with the hold off on fertilizer posts but if E.T was reading here he'd be a little bit confused.
You have to do what suits your own farm.

Location foot of the Blackstairs wexford.

    It was and early June.
I just abandoned any thought of fertilizer for 2nd cut with the weather till now.
Hasn't been grazed since then either which may have saved it's bacon.
    But there's life there now.

The last 2 days there has been great growth here. Fertiliser out everywhere. Even a field I topped yesterday is jumping out of it

Tried out my new harrow today, a palatine same make as reggies, spread some grasseed and granlime and it rained just as I finished rolling so it has all going for it.
Took ewes off a paddock yesterday that was eaten to the clay and like yours it jumped overnight too

The only thing jumping here is dust. And fcuking ragworth. Can't pull the fcuking thing will have to top one paddock as before it goes to seed

You're looking at the wrong forecast so.

Pressure is rising a bit tomorrow but dropping again Sunday and early days next week. Gfs is giving rain for the se those days.

    The breakdown has now occurred.
The wexford shield has now been breached. Summer is a distant memory.

We had a fairly severe thunderstorm that night. A pile of young cattle calves and dogs scattered that night. Broke the weather . Took another thunderstorm to fix it back in late May.

Dont know I was in the town today whilst it was trying to rain none of it fell on the ground. Back in Kilkenny not enough to dampen the dust.

There's some poor woman in Ireland now looking at their baba and wondering if their child will sprout horns at adolescence.
