Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It looks like the WEG in Tryon, North Carolina is going to get bad weather as hurricane Florence is due. I have a friend there competing for Team Ireland and I hope everyone remains safe over the next few days and they don't have to evacuate.

    All's well that ends well.

    Well done your friend!! :D

It's to get worse in Wexford till about 1am.
Kind of the same along the east coast but not as bad as the wind turns from the SE. Then gone at 2 am.

Any non storm wind event is a good event.

You may wait till after Sunday.
Then possibly a whole fine week.

But lots of rain between now and then and maybe an intense storm on Sunday to look forward to.

Heavy rain since about 3am and very severe winds here now. I’ll be surprised if power doesn’t go at some point

Great drying though, were getting a lot less rain that was forecast. The next band looks like it will stay of the south coast Thursday which is also a +

  • Registered Users Posts: 606 ✭✭✭RedPeppers

Ah sur you're grand so. You're just too lazy to hook it up is it! Only joking. I was hoping I wouldn't have to go dragging my genny out this morning for its maiden voyage too.

It's proper raining here, finally!!! Praise the lord, hopefully that's the back of the drought and grass will leap outa it whole way through October.

The odd tree down, big branches down in most fields and sticks everywhere. Silage field even has sticks in the middle of it. Not looking forward to having to pick that.
