Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best morning of the year here. Down to the t shirt, steel gates warm to the touch...

Just couldn't enjoy these types of days during the summer..

I see on the ENSO thread in the weather section of boards that we might be going into an El Nino period.
So usually that means the Atlantic roars into life with weather systems aplenty pouring in.

Say what you like but Atlantic weather has been very quiet this last while especially for the southeast of Ireland.

One contrary fact is that we are also in a solar minimum period which usually means cooler winters.
So back to square one on the certainty of forecasting.

I'm confused by the weather, am I still in Ireland? :p

    The thermosphere is cooling down.

So basically, space is closer and it's easier to get these real hard frosts like times of yore... or last year or 2010.

Beautiful evening here in east Cavan.
Air is still and it’s more than pleasant to be out dodging about.

Looks like a bit of heat next week. What a year for heavy land. Never have been so relaxed over the last few months. Looks like we'll get grazing for anther while yet.
