Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ditto
Real heat in that sun with yesterdays rain means Grass!
It's to be colder at the weekend with frost but milder again next week hopefully

    Perfect early May weather.
14c in the sun, then a thunder bust of rain, then 14c again in the sun.

It is a beautiful warm sunny evening in NCD. Youngest is home for Mam's first anniversary Mass and we are cooking a few steaks on the barbeque before he heads back to Galway later this evening.

Got a few very heavy showers this afternoon.

We had some persistent light rain since early morning, only clearing now. We missed all the heavy showers so we're hoping some rain over the next few days will pay a visit for a few hours.

Very chilly here this morning, then got warmer around midday.
Went to Carrick on Shannon & it absolutely bucketed down for half an hour, floods everywhere. Then on the way back, from Masonite turn off it got less & less & by the time I got home (25ish mins from Carrick) there hadn't been a drop of rain here at all.

Currently looking a bit iffy towards Cairn hill though :pac:

Dry up till Wednesday. It looks like low pressure coming in on Thursday and for the next few days after that at this point in time. Heatwave might be an exaggeration.
Some models only going as far as 17 others to 20 Celsius.

Today was a peach of a day here. No rain and bit of warmth.

Dry here near Arklow up until the end of milking, lovely in fact, heavens opened then,a bit of lightning too
Almighty monsoon around 8 again in the town, rivers of water going down the road but much less out here on the farm
Total here from the two showers just 3mm but that's a fair bit for 20 mins activity

Nice and sunny here today but a chilly NE wind, massive hailstones in ballina around 2 today supposedly.
What a country, its so small but the weather varies so much.

6.5mm in the last 12hrs here, followed the 8mm the previous 36hrs. The weather the last 6months has been as perfect as I could ever ask for! Bit of heat now all that is needed for rest of May please!
