Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tractor was going bogging here spreading fert today ha.

I'm nearly regretting getting my six cylinder monster. I've been getting growth marks showing up where I was spreading fert earlier in the year. No damage above ground visible but definitely visible grass growth tracks.
It's only now that I've no worries doing any land work.

What size tyres? and would they have any sidewall flex?

    Big silage rush next week?

I think the contractors will be putting pressure on lads to start the main cut pit silage alright.

    520/70 r38.

    I don't really think there's much flex?

I'm half on the lookout for a cheap 4 cyl 4wd or even 2wd 80hp for fert and maybe on the sprayer.

Edit: just got the correct size and there is a bit of flex. Bkt on one side and continental on the other side.
    First time I noticed that....

Contractor put out our dung today as they'll be mad at silage for the next while

Not at all at all. Sure there's regrowth there.

    Plus where are ya living?

Another glorious day here in the southeast.

Too dry for the start of May. We didn't get much rain this past 2 weeks and regrowths are slower than I'd like. We would normally have an odd strong paddock being taken out every few days but nothing looking likely in the next 2 weeks.

You may start putting in those fancy mix species swards for dry conditions. :)
There was a little bit on this morning on Countrywide about all that.

Cara Augustenberg got rightly slated on Twitter for spouting misinformation on it.

    Everyone's an expert.
Those who do. Do. Those who can't, tell others how crap they are.

    Gone chilly this evening.

    Yeah, cool this morning.

I've thought about putting them in but they'd be great roots to go through rock for water:pac:

At least temps look to be going to stay up. Hate that East wind

South east wind here you can see the ground drying out by the hour. Need it to slacken so I can spray

Sunny with a strong breeze, a good blast of rain needed for grass but not on the cards atm. Great weather for the turf.
Not much dew at night either

Last few spots I haven't had the rockbreaker in for.

A sup of rain wouldn't go amiss. An inch or so...

Got a slagging in work today. Been moaning about all the rain and said today I could do with some.

Hoped to get a silage cut this month but very little growth.

The veg garden also needs some water.

Gonna have to start watering my saplings if the rain doest come soon. The soil is getting very dry.
