Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Overcast here again today but had a few mls of rain earlier. I couldn't see the milk lorry leaving the yard yesterday with the dust he was rising so rain very welcome here atm.

I was doing a rain dance this morning and, as I put my clothes back on, I hoped I haven't overdone it:p

My wife told me the skies opened this morning(seriously). Not a whiff of the country when I came home.:D

All I need now is a lot of growth the next few weeks. Things were a lot simpler in the city but a lot less fun:eek:

Shítty humid weather here. Not enough falling to spread fertilizer, too much falling to save some silage

Lovely belt of rain here today

We only got 2 or 3 mls today, just enough to mobilise nitrogen but not enough to bring any real kick in grass growth.

Same as that here last night. Grass is sort of in reverse here now. Could be a use for some of those dreaded silage bales yet.

Great weather thus far. I hope it's being good to you. Great to have silage made, hay saved, turf home, slurry spread. When I think back of the hardship in spring 2018 or the summer of 2012.

Great day here, not a cloud in the sky and a nice, gentle breeze to keep us cool.

Saying that, could do with a sup of rain atm.

My father didn't care much for ditches, he liked to take one out every few years:o

    Lol, same story here.

Its a flat field though, flat as I've ever seen.
Dryness looks like it is catching a bit alright.

A good shower now would bump growth up towards 100, running round 20 the last few days and that's mostly in the heavier ground near the river. Very flat alright, you'd want to be trying hard to turn over here:)
