Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Very little, tbh. It's a light enough cut, 8 weeks growing and about half only got growing 2 weeks ago after the rain. There's a bit of grass headed out around the headlands alright for whatever reason?

A pic of some of the ground just after cutting. Rock hard and bone dry.

Noticing here that grass isn't growing back at all after cutting or grazing

Rain forecast here for the next few days so hoping for a good burst. Grass green to the butt so should come quickly.

You're probably ok having had much more rain than other places
Parts of north wexford and east wicklow are parched now and starting to burn
I've had fcek all rain in the last 8 weeks
Grass has been growing compared to last year but its pretty much halted now
Theres a real risk that systems in the next week will drop little round here either
Still we are obviously far far better off than last year

Pissing rain down here in Cork anyway, could do with a dry spell to get reseeding done and silage in

Got about 5 minutes rain earlier

Humid and windy here. You'd need something over the t-shirt until you get a bit of shade and have to take it off again with the heat.

Silage pit covered now so feet up for a while now before going for the cows.

I posted over in ChitChat that there's a yellow weather rain warning for Galway, Clare and Kerry from 2 to 8pm tomorrow with 20 to 30mm of rain forecast in thundershowers.

Which won't hit here anyway, I'll have to borrow Whelans barbecue and husband for an hour tomorrow:pac:

Got 5mm overnight here, and 4mm during the week, so lady luck going our way here in terms of the small few showers that have passed.

Supposed to be heavy rain this afternoon. Could do with a heatwave now to be honest. When was the last time we had a hot dry August? Last year was showery and misty with us.

Just starting to rain here now:)

And there'll be no radar images showing up on the weather website's for you as the Shannon radar receiver is broken.
The sooner there's receivers added to cover the southeast and northwest the better.
Sat24 and lightningmaps may do for today for ye southwesterners.

Heading to a football tournament now and blessing of the graves later. Hopefully rain will hold off here until we're done

We've prayers in the graveyard too at 4, fingers crossed.
We'd a lovely service this morning, dutch preacher, she's lay preacher and very devout and a ten year old organist, I thought there was lovely atmosphere, I must be catching religion, yea right. Everyone really tried to sing to support the little Organist
Only about twelve at the service

I hope you said a little prayer, for the Beef Plan protest, that they may succeed in their goal to get better incomes for Irish beef farmers

Yea right, my prayers would really blight it, don't exactly have a direct line to whoever y'all believe is out there.
    I'm an atheist,......thank god

    Which religion/church out of curiosity?

I was in Beirut a few years ago and had the option of an Anglican church service on a sunday nearby or a Coptic catholic mass
I opted for the mass, which was Lebanese
It's a relation of the catholic church but not Roman, though the pope chooses a cardinal for it
I'd have liked to have gone to the Anglican service too but one was enough for the day :p
I'll tell you one thing, the coptics do a lot more hugging than we do...

(P.s few heavy showers here about 10mm since yesterday, delighted, need more!)
