Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

met.ie predicts the mother of all soakings (again!) for Galway next weekend. That will definitely finish the grazing season if it comes to pass.

Giving a terrible days rain here friday too

Pity about the weather breaking again.

Spent all day getting the dungspreader dirty and more to do in the morning.
Lots of places at the plough with the sower following on.

Seems places might be getting sleet and possibly snow on high ground Friday.
Out in Europe winter seems to be starting next week with the snow making an appearance for a time from Germany to Greece.

Raining again this morning in N Tipp. I see a flood warning for UK with a potential month's rain in 24 hrs. Not too much winter corn sown around here this autumn.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

A load of winter crops sown here the last few days, sowing right behind the plough.

Overcast here this morning, land getting a wee bit sticky atm, light mist falling all morning.

After tonight looks like it may not be too bad till Wed maybe a bit Tues so depending on how bad 2night is might get a bit more cleaned off. Feel for the tillage lads was hoping to try and throw on a cover crop on ground that's two late for reseeding and there is water on top four with a few weeks.

Field of maize to be cut here but still very green. A few hard frosts wouldn't be long qualing it down.

The lads pulling stuff with big tractors this time of year are in some mess, dealer sold more combi drills in 4 weeks than previous 5 years having had to source a few from dealers stock on the continent through their manufacturer.
Know of a farm with 540 tons out of 600 of seed still in a shed.
Adapted the system of finishing with our big lumps by mid Sept before wet comes in, overkill for drill drills so can get alot done in a day. Will panic in a month as got Wbarley in and some wheat.
