Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    33mm since last night.
Another 60-80mm forecasted from now ‘till Tuesday night.

Old folk saying that it’s as bad as ‘86 or even ‘58...

    I’m sick of it anyhow.

Wow, when ye get it very wet early in the year is there a pattern for the rest of the year )
( And more importantly when ye get a very wet year does Ireland get a dry one ,or do we drown ? )
I can't really remember 86 , but all the summers of my youth were glorious

I’m not here long enough to comment on what way the summer goes. I do know that there’s been a drought without fail every summer for over a decade.

    * spilling rain now and giving 65mm by tomorrow night.

Horrible day in North Galway. Sunny South East sure. Another world altogether.

Met Eireann seem to have changed their good news/good weather forecast from a couple of days ago.

    More rain on the way.

Got the car washed, 1st time in like 3 months! I don't feel like such an outcast at the sec in comparison to my neighbours who seem to be always on top of choirs like that and cutting the lawn etc and not running around like a blue arsed fly.

Nice spring morning here. Hopefully it stays settled for the coming weeks. Ploughs and one passes working away around here.

Lucky you. Fog here and drizzle since yesterday afternoon. Should plant the lot.
