Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can really see the difference in paddocks where there was only a small cover after the rain the grass freshened. Mind you nearly the whole farm got 20-35 units of can over the last two weeks

    It'll come, Reggie.

The only certainty about Ireland is that it WILL rain in the not too distant future.

It's north of us the same as yesterday and so far not a drop here. Looking at the rainfall radar its heading towards Ballinamore/Drumshanbo.

It's just raining here now so it's moving towards Drumlish/Longford I reckon. Lightning just flashed & my laptop went off, better go hide under the bed

Lightingmaps.org has a circle of strikes all round me, certainly a good few near the lake. Must be right over us, pity it's not dark so I could watch it!

I wouldn't be that far from both Longford & Cavan borders, storm seemed to come into us from Cavan earlier.

Supposed to be shocking weather again in Clare this evening.
No doubt with the quantity of sferics there's more damage done.

Lunchtime in Cavan saw some great downpours and cracking thunder and lightening.

Has brightened up a great evening out there now. Was showing 24c on van. Just cracking.

Going by the farm measure (a meal bucket) there was about an inch of rain here today.
Thunderstorms went on for about an hour just after 1.30 pm.

Got sunny and warm then and now since 7.30 it's rumbling away continuously in the near distance. Had another few mm about 8.

It's gearing up for a big lightshow again tonight if this continues on which it seems to be atm.

Thankfully the power is still on.

There's a wind and rain warning issued for Cork, Kerry and Waterford for tomorrow so be careful outside tomorrow if you're in those areas.
