Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

+1. We got a few hours of soft rain yesterday but this evening proper wet rain is falling and it's badly needed.

I thought that it was today this year.

The birds woke me singing at 4.30 ish this morning. It was getting bright so I waited up to see the sun rising, headed back to bed for a few hours.

Thunderstorms, visceral lightning, torrential downpours, sheeting hail, a plague of locusts. None of these things happened north Galway area yesterday.

I heard a few rumbles of thunder in the distance in the last half hour but the heavens are after opening with lots of thunder and lightening. The rain is very welcome as we're still in moisture deficit here.

You must be in Longford today, thunder rolling in from Ballinamuck direction here, rain is still only light though. It only started about 15/20 mins ago.

We appear to be stuck right in the middle of thunderstorms, from the SE ealier, now north of us has as black a sky as ever I seen.

Lovely soft rain since 2pm in cork. Much rather this that big downpours which just run off the land.
