Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Outrageous rain here in NW Mayo with last few weeks, lots more coming over next few days.
If this keeps up ill not travel fields to make silage after Aug 15th deadline. No word of a drought now.

What’s the August 15th deadline about?

Doesn't look too bad for next week in Lanzarote:cool: I am tempted now that the old holiday pay has been sorted by Mihael & Co:rolleyes:.

Best of luck. Raining on and off (mostly on though:o) here in N Tipp since 7am.

The next poster who starts a thread about a drought here will be banned until it rains:D

Went to the beach last evening to cool down but it was 39.5* there.

    Wbarley finished?

Had shower of torrential rain here that lasted about 15 mins at 7am.

Whether it’s global warming is the cause or something else the way it rains has definitely changed in Ireland....nowadays you could get more water falling in an hour then might have fell in a week before.

there is some rain after falling in the last 4hrs here.... holy mother of god the floods from my house to the farm (1 & 1/2 mile) unreal... havent seen anything like it since Sept 2016 when we got 6inchs in one day... was up at the farm at 3am to a cow calving... and roads were half dry..... different story at 6am when i brought in cows and the rain has got heavier since....

Raining since 7.30 last night and still at it, was heavier bursts during the night. Cow's were in good dry ground last night and not much bother making footprints in it now. To dry up a bit for the next 7 days bar Fri i think, according to mt

These wet days don't seem half as bad when there's a fine spell to look forward to.
