Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How did the year fare out after August that year?

Rain this whole morning here. Even though it wasn't in the forecast.
Cut 7 acres of silage on Saturday evening and baled it yesterday.
Half tempted to leave to Sunday cutting and bale today but for luck..

Tomorrow's going to be a weird weather sort of day in the southeast. Wind will start off from the eastsoutheast and finish off as a westerly. Strong throughout.

Rain started here an hour ago, well over an inch forecast, just when the place had started to dry out, the curse a **** to it

Driving home this evening to NCD just as it was getting dark and I could see lights in fields. Every combine in the county must be out cutting tonight. It's still dry here but looking at the rainfall radar the rain isn't too far away.

    Pictures of the same hedge.
Green on the north side and burnt on the south side after the last storm.

My heart goes out to the tillage ppl atm. Crops poor enough never mind trying to cut in not ideal conditions.

Rained a sight last night. Electricity went at some stage but came back in time for the milking.

Windy here in NKy and a few squally showers. It doesn't seem to have made as much rain as I was expecting, cows aren't marking ground but there's a few puddles in low lying areas of the field still.

    I wouldn’t despair, it’s not done yet.

Neighbour lost 30 fusion 3 bales of silage, river rose 10 feet, was 1ft at wknd. Outside bantry we got the 50mn rain that was forecast. Severe water damage, I've ditches that were burst with water and 18inch pipes that couldn't take the flow even thou they were not blocked.

The attached pics shows some of bales that were washed through my 15 year old hedging the rest of bales are en route to the bay.
