Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's hard to believe that a storm is on the way, we had a beautiful day here too with plenty of sunshine.

    Calm before the Storm.

There's two or three days of very windy weather coming up before the high pressure next week.

It's supposed to be particularly bad here tomorrow morning.
All ye in the Midlands will be wondering what the fuss is about.

Starting to hear a bit of wind through the stove. Meant to be an interesting day tomorrow. Not bothered by the wind so much, hopefully it doesn't make too much rain.

I met one of the local tillage farmers yesterday on my travels and he has a big pile of spud boxes and pallets piled up for his annual "Halloween" bonfire.

Hopefully there won't be many this year as coupled with the strong wind they will be dangerous around built up areas.

Doesn't seem to have been too much rain around here overnight.

Still wet and blustery here. One thing it’s got all the leaves off the trees pretty fast.

Shows the varied topography of this small country, we’ve had harder frosts going back 6 weeks ago

Beautiful bright crisp autumnal morning in Cavan. Frost clearing and should stay nice all day.

A longer jumper should help with that:P

Nice morning here, no frost but cool and bright. A few days of this and I might be able to get the last few loads of K out.

Looking cloudy every now and then. Watching it closely on Climacell. Seems it is gonna burst open this weekend again. Gah!!!

    Wet, wet, wet.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Chrst but the roads are lethal atm with surface water. Ditches and drains full to the top and fields saturated now

Weather for the rest of the week dont look great either tbh.

That time of the year when you realise you haven't checked your weather apps for a few days. Everything's in, no more field work until mid January at the earliest. Feels good. Finally closed the tab with Netweather model discussion, it's been open since around March. Very sound east UK focused but get a good picture of what the weather is likely to do. It gets taken over by people desperate for arctic weather in the winter time
