+1 Temperature has risen from 7 earlier this morning to 11 now.
Got the knapsack out and sprayed the nettles (feckers) under the beech hedge (before the leaves head out) and post/rail fencing.

Did the same here a few days ago, nice to see their head droop

I reckon that the nettles grow more robust every year after spraying with glyphosate :(

Growth seems good today here. Very warm and a drop of rain forecast for tomorrow.

Magic day is about to strike here.

The rain came a bit early here today.:pac:

It's gone very dark and overcast here but there isn't much rain forecast. Great drying the last few days. I'd just started the second rotation because the last few paddocks of the first were too wet to graze but left the cows in there the last few days without much damage except in spots.

I'd say you'll get more than you think.
    Not biblical but still rain.
Looks to be a bit of rain starting at 11pm tonight for you.
I'm getting it tomorrow and Sunday morning.

I put Daz on the roof earlier to clear off the moss so hoping for a small drop of rain now, just enough to bubble that up and wash in the slurry!

More a mist here. Barely enough moisture to wet the ground last night.

But it's warm anyway so I'll take that for today.

Nothing here only a brisk wind. Had a slight drizzle or something last night

You can graduate onto an irrigation system now that you've mastered the drinking troughs :D

Yup. Thats why i need the rain. One good day would do id say. Like anything, when your looking for something ya cant find it and when you are not looking for same thing it will be the first thing you will come across! Maybe i should pray for a heatwave instead.

Same in Cavan, light soft drizzle, mild enough and no wind to speak of.
