Couple of showers here in the west, but no drying out, concrete around shed stayed wet all day.
Failed to get in a gap seeing cows yesterday evening, in a 4wd tractor! I suppose if i spent another 20 mins bucking i would have got through but i'd need a track machine to level the ruts after me!

Dry dull here with a light breeze. Not much drying but there's mowers out and about.

Pouring rain here in Cavan, has rained most of the morning too.
Looked at ten day forecast there and 6 out of the 10 days are showing rain.

No rain here today so far. Was topping and ground was wet enough

Rang up the contractor today to cut silage tomorrow.
"Eh the mower is just after coming back into the yard there now.
Will I send him on to you now?"
Me: "I think it's to rain this evening and maybe tonight".
Con: "Ah it'll be a thing of nothing. I don't think it'll rain. Will I send him on?"
Me: "Emmm??" "Ah sure I've a field and a few paddocks we could start on them and do the main bit in the following days".
Con: "Right so i'll send him on. Make sure you have the phone with you".

Tractor came and mowed the headland and a strip in the middle of the field and then it started raining. Called a halt and now it's really lashing and the shoots can't handle the water.

Same as David here all day. Heavy enough shower in the morning and dry since but a bit misty now. Spreading fert all day and a couple of mowers and a Big M travelling up and down the road all day.

Yeah, was bringing sheep for a lad buying and he decided to let them alone till Monday so I'm still dry, thankfully.

It looks like it's going to stay for a while as well.

Find a good acupuncturist if it's muscular and you'll be right in 2 days. If it's disc related a bit harder. I'm going to mine again tomorrow and I fly around the place after 20 years of rugby....
