    This morning was one of the loveliest mornings I can remember. Cold crisp and a beautiful clear sky.

    Left Celbridge this morning at 6:45 and car was frozen solid. Melted windsceen with warm water and by the time I got to Dundrum (in slow traffic), the bonnet of my car was still frozen. It was that cold.

    Ski trousers were my best ever impulse purchase from the 'Aisle of Everything' in Lidl, really good for damp, horrid, weather like this! Plus they can be wiped clean :D

    It was drier, colder and sunnier than average with.....
    Athenry driest since 1983
    Moorepark coldest since 1984
    Cork Airport sunniest since 1962

    T shirts under the oil skins maybe. Pissing rain and strong wind down here. Wasn't expecting the wind
