    Was planning on putting cows ill be drying off 2moro out but they'll have to go back to cubicles now anyway with some straw. Some amount of water after falling this week

    Someone was telling me today it's to get alot colder from next Thursday and that bookies have stopped taking bets on a white Christmas!

    It's not really predicted to be that cold for Christmas. There might be a possibility of some wintery showers on Christmas Eve. But if it did happen it would be a shortlived affair and it shouldn't stick to the ground and the areas affected should only be the west and north.

    But the big talking point is the possibility of a wind storm on Christmas Eve morning and another one on Stephens Day. The southwest and the south coastal counties atm look likely to be worst affected on Christmas Eve and the whole country looks to be affected by the one on Stephens Day.

    But a lot could change between now and then and the weather models could/probably will change and it might not happen.

    Isn't a wire Christmas defined by snow on the ground at Dublin airport so it's not likely
