    These were taken an hour ago and it's a constant fall of snow since then.
    Roads are just getting white now.

    Was at funeral earlier and it was raining and damn cold. Dry now sun out but A good hard wind blowing. Power went out for some bit around 6.00 this morning No snow whatsoever.

    Looking at those pics it looks lovely up there,and it must be great for the kids.
    Down here it's just incredibly wet and cracking cold.

    -2 and dropping. Wouldn't mind a bitta cold weather, kill off any bugs knocking around. snow on the ground here now. I was more excited about it than the nephew:D Was certain he'd come out for a snow fight. He'd rather be inside watching the laptop.... big change in generations

    Have a proper storm here yesterday and today. So far 44mm and 160kph gusts.

    Had to go rigging up generators this morning at 3am.
    Staff are clearing trees from roads since first light.

    Became my father yesterday when I wouldn't leave my own out during a brief spell of snow...... sure weren't they smothering all week and they'd only be out and they'd want to be back in,wet and cold and dragging a heap of snow around the back porch.

    There's some red sky this morning.
    The whole sky is ablaze of crimson red.

    Must be all those ice crystals in the atmosphere or something.
