Wind and rain and then more rain followed by some rain, it feels like it's been raining forever... Or at least since May...
No frost or snow at all this year.
    The odd shower of hailstones.
Flashes of lightning now as I type, out to sea... Wtf next.

Today wasn't too bad of a day.
    A bit chilly at times.

It looks like a very mild week is in store.
Wet at times though. But mild yea grow grass grow. With Wednesday being the mildest day.

I see research has found a better way of predicting weather a few months ahead of time by getting temperature readings from a particular area of the Atlantic which decides where the Jet Stream will lie months ahead of time.

I hope it's as simple as that.

I know there was some research on a correlation and weather on mainland Europe but.. for us?

Jesus yere having the best of it up the country. Tis cracking cold all day down here but worse then that was the pelting rain turning to driving sleet. And one stage we had rain sleet and snow all at the same time. All were missing is a bit of thunder and lightning.

It's been freezing here since dark and it started to rain about an hour ago. I had to go to the shop to get some milk for the morning and the roads are treacherous with black ice.
Be careful if your driving folks.

Pesky snow here in cork. The place is white and it's still falling. Roads are very slippery.

Can the words "accumulations" and "2cm" be used in the same sentence?

Should be gone tonight with heavy rain in cork
Snow further up the country tonight for a while midlands north before turning to rain there too except in Ulster where it might stay as snow

Lovely crisp frosty sunny day so far in South Wicklow
