Had to get up on the roof of the cubicle shed to,secure some sheeting. Was windy enough earlier. Cordless drill is a gift. Dry here but cold

Wind and rain and then more rain followed by some rain, it feels like it's been raining forever... Or at least since May...
No frost or snow at all this year.
The odd shower of hailstones.
Flashes of lightning now as I type, out to sea... Wtf next.

It looks like a very mild week is in store.

I see research has found a better way of predicting weather a few months ahead of time by getting temperature readings from a particular area of the Atlantic which decides where the Jet Stream will lie months ahead of time.

I know there was some research on a correlation and weather on mainland Europe but.. for us?

It's been freezing here since dark and it started to rain about an hour ago. I had to go to the shop to get some milk for the morning and the roads are treacherous with black ice.

Snow further up the country tonight for a while midlands north before turning to rain there too except in Ulster where it might stay as snow
