    Which is it?:)

One is a personal opinion and the others are weather forecast charts.

    All these can change.

Well it's better than the old one. Dropped young lad to running this morning. Boyne was full to the brim. Never saw as much water on the roads too.

115mm for this week in clare

    94.6 mm since jan 1
    27.2 so far today
    22 yesterday

Almost 4 inches since start of the January and rising
Water lying in east Wicklow is more to do with ground being hard a few inches down so it’s raining harder than it can normally soak

Same affect though as if it had been raining with you all year though when soakage is limited like that
It should dry up though after tomorrow’s dry day but unfortunately will leave the top greasy
So essentially similar to somewhere that’s had a lot more rain all year

A case of you’re damned if it rains and you’re damned if it doesn’t

Looks like its going to be rough tonight in Wexford.
Even rougher than Nowlan Park last Saturday.

There's a wind warning in place for tonight. Worst winds around 2 -4 am Wednesday. Wind gusts up to 70 mph possible.

It's a pity we can't send Brian Coady to the stands to calm down this one.

Dry blustery day here. Seen a couple of tankers in fields. First time this year

It's still game on for Wexford tonight.
Mostly for Kerry, west cork, cork, Waterford and Wexford.

Lots of people are unprepared me thinks.

It's getting fairly blowy here in the southeast.

    Any reports from the southwest?

It looks like we could be in for a right stormer later on here in the southeast.

Blowing a bit now alright, more in gusts at the minute, straight in from the southwest. Another one of a few this year here anyway. Not much rain in it either showers for a few mins then eases off

It's fairly windy outside, dry and outside temp is 11.2c. The land here (NCD) has dried up a lot in the last 3 days.

Seems we escaped the worst of the wind.
Well it's fairly sheltered here from the sw.

Didn't get any rain last night.
Nice and calm and sunny atm.

Looking at the weather forum it appears there were squall lines crossing the country about that time. So the wind would have been very concentrated when they were passing.
I think the worst of the wind was from the south coast into Waterford and up acoss to Louth?

It appears there was heavy hail this morning in Galway with multiple crashes and a car turned over on the tuam to Galway motorway. The road is closed this morning anyway for emergency services.

Few trees down here but no damage otherwise, if it wasn't for Ophelia the tree would have been fine

    That's a nice day!

Sun's out all day. Currently 8c.
    Feels warmer in the Sun.

The uplifting sound of a John Deere and lely centreliner fills the air from across the ditch.
