First day in 4 months that I haven't had to wear a jacket.

You need to eat more. Then no need for jackets at all

You may want to note where you put it down as next weeks east winds bring the shivers, has it got good lining ? :D

Leave aside your snow fetish for a few minutes.:)
Do you think we'll get an easterly?

It seems to be on a knife edge with westerlies winning out in the secondhalf of next week.

It looks to be all watching for the secondhalf of February atm.

Condition score of 4 atm so plenty of insulation. :pac: But insulation won't stop the constant rain. A neighbour was saying 8 dry days in the last 3 months round here. And I'd say it wasn't even that much.

I’m pretty convinced a lot of us will see some snow in the next 7 days yes which will mean we’ll need a coat!
I’ve reasonable confidence, more than usual that our air will be merging east and west both cold sources at the moment during the next week, another reason to need a coat
Beyond that I’ve no confidence at all

    Oh and I don’t have a snow fetish,I’ve a weather fetish
The fetish reflects the weather de jour

Rain just starting. This is why we needed Irish water, 4 months of constant rain and nobody in heaven bothered about fixing the damn leak because theres no bill coming.

Often heard my Mam on about Feb 2nd being Candlemas day.
"If Candlemas day is fine and clear, there will be two winters in the year" was the phrase she had that went with it.
Don't know how accurate it is.

It was clear and dry for most if the day so we may be screwed. It's raining now so maybe we're OK.

Was thinking the same myself, first day all winter I didn't have to tip the nut troughs to spill the water out of them. Just tell you how much rain we got here all winter.

Yeah, there's been some amount of rain this last four months here too. I've never seen land so wet for so long.

It'll have to change soon, as I've been saying since October:o

Super day here gives some hope after such terrible weather the last few months. Might let the cows out..........into the yard get a bit of sun on their backs!

Super day. Know there is a bit of frosty weather ahead but was surprised to see the deer moving down the hill. Usually not a good sign but maybe they got it wrong, can't see it getting that cold.
