Any fast chargers in Connemara?

    I would like to do a drive to Carna and Clifden in my leaf but it seems there are no fast chargers there. I'd be under a time constraint on the day I'd be able to do go there so can't really afford to wait at the slow chargers. Does anyone know if there are any plans to build a fast charger in those areas?

    Have you looked at the eCars map?

    That's up to date and eCars say they don't have any plans to add new fast chargers in the medium term so if the map doesn't show it you are out of luck for the time being.

    The slow charger in clifden was out of service for weeks during the summer, but it didn't show up as a fault on the system because it was a comms issue.
    I got back to Galway city with 17km left on my 30kw Leaf after a 90% charge on the drive out.

    The current " pilot Project" phase is complete , so until we see the outcome of the CER review, no one knows whats going to happen
